33-year-old Stephanie Matto, who appeared on the reality show 90 Day Fiancé, posted a video on TikTok alleging that she was in a digital relationship with an unnamed government official whom she described as “terrible.” Matto claimed that she had a series of “virtual dates” with the anonymous Senator, for which he paid her to watch her eat.
The actress claimed that she only recently “cut ties” with the official following the expansion of his “crazy and radical” beliefs. However, despite the alleged romance being over, she is taking the opportunity to throw “dirt” on him. In the video, Matto said that the online fling was “a huge secret” prior to the revelation she made days ago.
Her reason for doing so, she said, was that she recently heard him telling reporters he supported “something” that she “simply [can]not stand by” because she is a woman. According to Matto, she was uneasy about his stance on political issues after a conversation they had during one of their online dates weeks before.
Matto alleged that the anonymous Senator confessed to her that he cares little for politics, people, and women, saying that he “only cares about” the power and money that comes from his field of work. She also claimed that he chatted with her digitally through a “burner account.”
According to Matto, he even threatened her when she once said she would tell the world who he was. She added that she was “tired” after having dealt with the alleged situation, noting that the Senator had also threatened to deport one of her family members, who is an immigrant.
The one clue to his identity that viewers took to investigate who the Senator could be was that he fishes. Viewers have speculated that the secret boyfriend could be Missouri Sen. Eric Schmitt or Sen. Josh Hawley, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, or Idaho Sen. Geoff Schroeder. Despite Matto’s claims and public speculation, there is no evidence to support the allegations or point to any of the Senators being involved with her.
