Editorial Policy

Have you ever landed on a news site without a transparent editorial policy? We have, and we don’t trust them. We want to be as upfront with you as possible when it comes to describing the way we handle our reporting. So here you have it:

A Lack of Bias

We view biased reporting as dishonest reporting. We’re thrilled to get to know our audience and choose stories and news that are most important to them; but we also know there are two sides to every story. We’re dedicated to presenting the facts in a way that ensures you have a clear understanding of why all parties are acting the way they are.

Ethics, Ethics, Ethics

Did someone say ethics? Right — because they’re important to us. We’re never going to tell you who to vote for. We won’t ever blindly support a single person or political candidate. We can’t be bought by advertisers or lobbyists. All members of our team are required to disclose any conflict of interest and we will take the appropriate action based on those disclosures.

Humans Mess Up

It’s true. They do. But what we’re willing to do is take responsibility for our mistakes. We promise to do so quickly, with humility, transparently, and from a place of honesty. We know and appreciate how much you trust us and while we may sometimes make a mistake, we will always correct it transparently and let you know about it.

We’re Here for You

We hope you’ll reach out to the Newsworthy team anytime you have a question or comment. Our team is here for you and looks forward to building a long lasting relationship. Talk to you soon!
