Voters Upset By Focusing On Kamala’s Identity

(NewsWorthy.news.com) – Conservative news anchor Lawrence Jones has warned the Republican Party that focusing on Kamala Harris’ ethnic background rather than her policies will anger voters. The “Fox & Friends” panel featuring Jones highlighted Harris’ track record on policies, including the Biden-Harris administration’s handling of the border crisis, her support for pro-Palestine protesters, and her calls to defund the police and slash student debt.

Jones stressed that it would be more productive to tackle Harris on her policies rather than highlighting her sex or race. The host argued that voters would just be turned off if Republicans continue to suggest that Harris is only a “DEI hire” based on her ethnicity and gender. Jones called such attacks “unnecessary”, and suggested that Trump will lose the election in November if he relies on such tactics.

Trump has accused Harris of being a “Marxist fraud” and of being more radically left-leaning than Biden. Having previously accused Hillary Clinton of playing the “woman card” when standing against her in the 2016 election, the former president has now claimed that Harris is playing the “race card”.

Harris’ step-daughter blasted Trump’s running mate JD Vance after a clip resurfaced in which he called the vice president a “childless cat lady”. Vance’s comments prompted backlash from celebrities, such as Jennifer Anniston, who said she hoped that Vance’s daughter would have children someday. She added that she hoped Vance’s daughter would not need to rely on IVF treatment, and accused Trump’s running mate of trying to ban the procedure.

Some critics have noted how keen Harris is to emphasize her status as a “woman of color”, despite others being branded “anglo-saxon misogynistic males” by left-wing commentators for making the same observation. Jones acknowledged that Biden “set the stage” for the DEI claims to some degree by choosing a woman as his running mate, but warned that the personal attacks on Harris based on her sex and race could drive away Black American voters.
