(Newsworthy.News) – Expert Jovan Pulitzer has claimed in an interview, when analyzing the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, that there was a second sniper at the scene. He argued in his assessment of the shooting that suspect Thomas Crooks was shot not by Secret Service snipers but by a “second Malvo shooter.”
Pulitzer suggested that the 20-year-old Crooks was a “patsy,” and claimed that the alleged second gunman was the one who really pulled the trigger in the attacks that killed one and critically wounded two others. Trump escaped with a grazed ear after he turned his head the moment the gunman fired at him.
Pulitzer stressed that he did not believe the shooting was “staged” to benefit Trump in any way, as has been claimed by anti-Trump conspiracy theorists. Despite incumbent President Joe Biden already facing pressure from leading donors to step down from his campaign following mounting concerns about his mental fitness, skeptics suggested on social media that Trump’s team set up the assassination in an attempt to gain sympathy.
Several Republicans blamed Biden for allegedly inciting violence against Trump. Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene called the Democratic Party “evil” and accused it of attempting to murder the former president. The Secret Service agents were reportedly slow to act after witnesses reported a gunman on the roof, and some commentators accused its snipers of waiting for Crooks to shoot first.
The Secret Service claimed that it had not placed any snipers on the roof where Crooks was because it was dangerously sloped, despite it appearing to be flatter than the roof where the Secret Service snipers were stationed. Pulitzer argued that evidence showing the deceased Crooks suggests that he was shot from behind, which would indicate that he was not killed by Secret Service agents.
Pulitzer’s reference to Lee Boyd Malvo, one of the two gunmen in the Washington DC shootings in 2002, implied that the alleged second shooter in Pennsylvania was firing from a nearby vehicle out of sight.
