RFK Jr. Allegedly Doesn’t Live at Official Voting Address

(NewsWorthy.news) – Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. does not appear to live at his listed voting address, as court records show that the Westchester county property is in foreclosure proceedings for non-payment. Kennedy claims that 84 Croton Lake Road in Katonah is his voting address, though he neither owns the in-arrears million-dollar home nor shows up in resident searches of the property. Longtime neighbors and local authorities were surprised by the claim that it was the home of the Independent candidate.

Kennedy’s campaign claimed in response to the allegations that the house had been his New York home since June 2023. His campaign also stated that he had been too busy campaigning elsewhere to spend time at the property. According to voting records, Kennedy used the address to vote in 2020 and in at least seven previous elections. The legal owner of the property is Barbara Moss, Dr Timothy Haydock’s wife and a friend of the Independent candidate. A settlement conference is due to take place on June 7 regarding the $46,106 plus interest that is owed by Moss.

Foreclosure proceedings were initiated in the New York Supreme Court in March by the U.S. Bank Trust Company. In a statement sent out to reporters, Kennedy’s campaign claimed that the home was the candidate’s official address and that Kennedy receives mail at the property. The statement also noted that Kennedy’s automobile and driver’s license are registered in New York as well as licenses for wildlife rehabilitation, falconry, fishing and hunting. The Kennedy campaign mentioned that Robert F. Kennedy Sr., the candidate’s father, served in New York as a senator before he was assassinated in 1968. The statement clarified that Kennedy does pay rent to Moss.

Kennedy’s campaign has seen mounting criticism approaching the presidential election from both Democrats and Republicans. According to polls, Republican voters have a higher opinion of Kennedy than Democratic voters, but each party has accused the Independent candidate of being the opposing party’s “plant”. Republican presumptive nominee and former President Donald Trump has ramped up his personal attacks on Kennedy, calling both his campaign and views on vaccines “fake”. Kennedy’s past health issues with a parasitic brain worm that caused temporary health issues also came to light, prompting him to claim he could eat five more brain worms and still beat both President Joe Biden and Trump in a debate.
